Methodology

How the opponents decide

The opponents are rule-based players running known game theory strategies. No AI and no language model is involved. Each one follows a single rule: tit for tat, grim trigger, best response, mixed equilibrium or frequency learning.

The point is to let you feel the behaviour the theory predicts. At the end of every game you see which rule the opponent followed and why it moved that way.

The opponents run inside your browser. No request leaves the page while you play.

How scores are computed

Every game produces a score normalised between 0 and 100. It measures two things: the payoff you collected and how close your choices came to the theoretical optimum.

Sending a score to the board is optional and needs a handle. There is no password; the handle is tied to a key generated on your device.

Where your data sits

Your progress, your scores and your access code stay in your own browser. No account, no membership, no tracking cookie.

If you submit a score, the server keeps three things: the handle you picked, your best score per game and an irreversible digest of your device key. Your email address never enters the board.

How access works

Premium games unlock with a one-time access code. The code appears on screen right after payment and is sent to your email address.

The code is your permanent key. If your browser data is cleared or you move to another device, you enter it again. The code is verified mathematically, so no account and no password is stored.

Scores stay on the device that produced them; carrying scores between devices is not supported yet. That is a deliberate simplicity call taken to avoid building an account system.

Where the content comes from

The games, scenarios and explanations here were written for this site. Game theory concepts belong to a century of shared academic work; we rebuilt them in the language and the numbers of someone running a business in Turkey.

The aim is a working rehearsal room for pricing, negotiation and trust calls, rather than an academic lecture.
