COUNCIL

you either make a business decision alone or you lean on the first person you talk to. either way, the decision is made with one pair of eyes.

claude builds you a five-seat advisory council: buffett, bezos, musk, jobs and hormozi. the seats are simulations compiled from public sources, with no tie to the people themselves. you write your decision, claude seals its own view before the council sits, then the council debates in two rounds, scores the options and leaves a draft call tagged do / do with conditions / don't. the final call is yours. the guide is open on this page, no email needed.

the guide

what it does

when you ask claude about a decision you get one opinion. this system lets you see the same decision through five different lenses at once.

claude sets up a five-seat council. each seat is tied to a name: buffett looks at capital and risk, bezos at the customer and the system, musk at speed and engineering, jobs at product and focus, hormozi at the offer, the price and the sale. every seat has its own brain: a folder compiled from that person's letters, interviews and books, with a source number on every line. when a seat writes its card it reads only that folder.

these seats are simulations compiled from public sources. they have no tie to the people themselves and don't speak for them. that note sits at the bottom of every card.

here's what makes the council different: before calling it, claude writes down its own view and seals it. when the council is done the seal is opened and the gap between the council's call and claude's first view goes into the report. that way claude ends up checking the council.

the council's output is a draft call. no publishing, spending or contract happens on its own from the council's output. the final call is yours.

how you set it up

no coding needed. three steps.

  1. open the claude desktop app and start a new chat in the code tab. paste this address and say "download this for me and work in this folder": github.com/muhammedsevimli/systems/tree/main/council. claude handles the rest; if it needs to set something up it asks and you approve.
  2. write your decision in the same chat: convene the council: should i open a second branch?. if something is missing claude asks at most three questions: what the options are, which numbers you have, whether the decision can be reversed. then it seals its own view and convenes the council. the short call comes back in the chat, the full report lands in the folder. it takes a few minutes.
  3. to watch the room live, write "open the room" in the same chat. claude starts the page and gives you the address to click. five seats sit at a table; when a new card comes in that seat speaks, and in the second round objection and agreement arrows are drawn. hover over a seat and it shows its last word. the room page only reads files, it makes no ai calls of its own.

modes

  • full: runs when you write "convene the council: ...". five seats, two rounds. in the first round everyone writes their position, strongest argument, biggest risk and score. in the second round the seats object to or back each other and update their scores.
  • quick: you write "quick council: ...". three seats, one round. claude picks the seats by the decision: for a price or offer decision hormozi, buffett, jobs; for a product, location or channel decision bezos, jobs, musk; for an investment or debt decision buffett, bezos, hormozi.
  • single seat: you write "council ask hormozi: what happens if i double my price". the council doesn't sit, only that seat answers from its own brain.

how the score comes out

every seat scores every option out of ten, and the seats carry equal weight. two rules apply. if a seat says "high risk of ruin" for an option, that option's average is capped at six no matter what it scored. if the seats are four points or more apart, the tag can be no higher than "do with conditions". the chair (claude) builds this table, writes the draft call tagged do / do with conditions / don't, then opens its seal and notes the gap.

adding your own seat

the council ships with five seats, and you can add a sixth yourself. write "add a seat to the council: my accountant, who looks at cash flow and tax" in the same chat. claude builds the seat's brain folder and its seat definition from the ready template; you paste in that person's views, notes or writing. every line keeps a source number, and the seat quotes only those lines.

from then on writing "convene the council: ... seats: buffett, bezos, accountant" brings that seat to the table. the seat doesn't have to be famous; your accountant, your partner or your hardest customer can be a seat too.

honesty

  • the seats are not real people. they are simulations compiled from public sources; they don't know what those people think today and don't speak for them.
  • the seats quote only the source-numbered lines in the brain folder. the rest is their own reasoning, and the card keeps the two apart.
  • claude's sealed view is not shown to the council and is never edited afterwards.
  • the council's output is a draft. no card, score or call leaves without your approval.
  • the seat busts are stylized models generated from openly licensed photos; the sources are listed in room/portraits/SOURCES.md.

advanced: if you'd rather download the folder yourself, pick "download zip" from the green "code" button on the github page and point claude at the folder you unpack.

build systems like this yourself

this page is the council's setup guide. claude does the setup; you only write your decision and read the draft. if you get stuck, the code is open: github.com/muhammedsevimli/systems
